... and then our lives change forever. We can't wait!
We walked all over central Hanoi today, didn't make it to the mausoleum - we realized at 10:17 am that 10:15 am was when the latest you could enter. So we walked around the Old Quarter, had some pho for breakfast, wandered over to the lake, then around the lake, up to a rooftop cafe for some yummy iced coffee, through a modern shopping center in the French Quarter, had an amazing dinner for only $20 in an French colonial villa turned restaurant. We'll be going back there without a doubt, if only for the fried rice in a pineapple.
Now we're back in the room, diaper bag packed, calm but anxious, and ready to head out at 8:15 am to go to the Social Sponsoring Centre in Dong Ahn. Hope I can get some sleep tonight.
